Not sure what happened, but the blog portion of the website was not working and would not stay the way I designed it. I worked for hours on it and eventually had the site so screwed up that it looked to be easier to start from scratch. It took me all of March and the first week of April to re-do it, but while restarting, I realized the flaw in my first attempt. The website was more about me than it was about writing. So, the new website is pretty much completed and focused on writing – with a synopsis of the stories and novels, excerpt from most, and well, the blog which I’m still attacking.
So now, back to writing. The next competition from Cat & Mouse was announced and so now I need to get busy with the real purpose. The theme this year is Beach Secrets. I have one idea forming into a story. I have a good feeling, so far, but I had stronger feelings about other stories that didn’t get selected. So, I’m putting the website building aside for a few months and starting to write stories. Secret Keeping is the first.
