My First Series
The rough drafts of six installments of The Cat Who Saved Rehoboth are done. An exciting project, one that will need a lot of revisions to complete. The further into the story I went, the more the back story needed revisions, notes, or corrections. That may be because the first installment happened to be the last in the series.
It was a very fun process and I look forward to the revisions and edits. One important thing I realized while finishing the last story, I need one or two short small plots or side stories, small things that weave in and out of the main plot line. I’ve picked out a couple, one is the chance appearance of a young skater dude who seems poised to help keep the work fun and light.
My hope is to get the stories polished enough to show the betas and then find an editor in time to have the series book published by the summer of 2024.
Oh, and one last note. I wrote five short stories for Beach Secrets. The last one which I knew I wouldn’t enter received the best reviews from the beta-babes. Rosemarie’s comment was “Whoa!”
