Welcome to the reason for this website. I hope you take a few minutes and looked around. Below is a list of my work, published, unpublished, and work-in-process. I’ve also listed the awards given to the books of short stories that I am included in. You can also read excerpts from all of the completed works, just click the link.

Rehoboth Beach takes center stage in the series of short stories included in Perfect Beach Day. This collection of humorous and endearing stories is the perfect companion to a beach chair on a sunny day, a porch swing on a rainy beach day, or a sofa in front of a crackling fire. These stories include quirky and delightful characters who will show just how special this small seaside town can be.
What might be considered a romance novel, Meant To Be is more about the heartbreak of a long-term marriage that slowly melts away because of alcoholism and a fear of growing old. Stacy Fischer Can Dance The Tango started as a short story and was the first of my stories to be published. Exciting! The result was that I enjoyed the story so much that after entering it for consideration in Rehoboth Reads anthology for Beach Nights, I kept going. Thirty-five hundred words turned into a full-length novel. My first completed novel worth showing.

Just because a story isn’t accepted by the judges of a competition, doesn’t mean it’s not a good story. Here is a list and excerpt of completed stories that have not been published. Some day, if I have enough of these stories, I will publish a collection of random stories. Please take a look and if you would like to read more than an except – reach out. Oftentimes, mostly in the wee hours, my mind wanders. And when an idea pops up for a story, I let it fester and stew, and if the idea lasts and has legs, it gets recorded in the morning. Sometimes it’s just a storyline, a sentence or two to keep the idea alive. Sometimes it’s a couple of paragraphs or more. Every once in a while, the entire story falls out and I spend a few hours recording plots, subplots, . . .
